Edelweiss Renewables Advisors is engaged in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects. We provide support in all areas for the development of a project and accompany the implementation of the overall development of a project.
The activities includes site survey, quick scans, drafting and conclusion of land contracts, stakeholder management, research and analyzing of administrative feasibility, financial feasibility, technical feasibility, risk management, process / project management, financial management, establishment of a project entity, setting up of financial models, arranging of tax aspects, setting up of a project business case, contract management, structuring and organizing the financing of projects.

 

Financing

Renewable energy projects are quite often being developed from the possession of or the right to a ground position or a certain technology. A crucial element in the development, realization and operation of a project, being the financing, is sometimes considered at a too late stage or underestimated or sometimes not taken into account at all.

Edelweiss Renewables Advisors considers financing as an integral part of a project development. Therefore she guides you preferably  already during the development phase to make your project bankable. Subsequently she is pleased to advise and support you in attracting risk capital from her network of investors, in structuring of a debt financing, in organizing a funding competition amongst banks, in judging and comparing financing offers and of course in negotiating and closing a financing.

With the experiences since 1994, in the banking sector and as advisors, in the field of financing renewable energy projects, we understand both what entrepreneurs and financiers require. Basis of the services therefore is the knowledge of and experience with finance, financings and bankability aspects and the process and mentality of financial institutions, the technical and contractual knowledge of and experience in renewable energy projects, the tax and legal structuring. Edelweiss Renewables Advisors has already provided courses and workshops for various clients in the field of project financing, risk analysis and investment processes for renewable energy projects and investments. Due to her experience in energy contracting and her experience in and knowledge of energy markets, Edelweiss Renewables Advisors can support you in finding and negotiating solid, bankable electricity off-take agreements and, even so for fuel supply contracts of biomass projects..

Edelweiss Renewables Advisors has been involved in electricity off-take agreements in the Netherlands and abroad for wind energy, solar energy and biomass and fuel supply agreement for various biomass projects in the past years.
